Saturday morning of ShAFF will see a pre-breakfast run taking place from the Showroom, conveniently timed to get back just in time for breakfast in the Showroom Bar followed by the opportunity to watch ‘Run Films 2’ at 10:30.  The run is being organised by Sheffield running shop Up & Running. The run will cost £10. Breakfast will be served buffet style and will include: tea or coffee plus bacon, vegetarian sausage, baked beans, scrambled egg, mushrooms and toast. Montane, ON and SealSkinz will be on hand for you to try out some of their running packs, shoes and waterproof socks and gloves. Please arrive from 8:00 if you would like to try some kit and hear from the brand reps about how it all works! There will be 2 run options. These will vary in their length and speed. All the details about each run are below. Run 1. Around 7 miles long. Rough pacing will be 8-9 minute miling. The route will take in a number of the green spaces as well as Up & Running and GoodGym locations near to the city centre. Run 2. Around 4 miles in length Aiming to stay around 11 minute miling. Similar to the first, we’ll take in a few of the green spaces near to the city centre but won’t be going quite as far afield and will do our best to avoid any of the really steep hills!  Key information for both runs. Meet. The Workstation at 08.30. ON will be on site with some demo shoes. If you would like to try running in a pair of ON shoes then please arrive in plenty of time to find some that fit. Depart. 08:45am Return. Between 09.30 – 09:50 We do ask that everyone signs a disclaimer before taking part. This is to ensure that everyone is in good health and understands that there are inherent risks involved when running, especially around a city centre! If you’ve any more questions about the runs then please email Mary at sheffield@upandrunning.co.uk TICKETS are £10.
