About

Starts

22 Mar '20 | 12:20pm

Ends

22 Mar '20 | 4:30pm

Hit the trails of the Peak and clean them up as you go. Catch a lift back to the Showroom or run into the city. You'll be guided by expert coach Andy Brooks from Peak Running and joined by trash activist Dom Ferris of Trash Free Trails, who'll share some of TFT's exciting plans for 2020 along the way.

Meet 12:20 prompt at the ShAFF Outpost (The Workstation). You'll run to the bus station, catch a ride out to the edge of the Peak District National Park, and do a trail running litter pick in the magnificent moorland overlooking the city. We'll then jump on the bus back into the city or you can run all the way back to The Showroom if you like. Either way, we aim to get you back for a pint and a spot of inspirational running viewing with ShAFF's Run Films 1 screening at 16:45.

You'll need the fitness to run around 5 miles (more if you want to run back to the city), some grippy shoes, running kit appropriate to the weather, waterproof jacket, hat and gloves.

Don't forget to plan your running weekend at ShAFF with our Run for Your Life festival itinerary. The ShAFF Rebel Raids - a series of high energy environmental actions on the streets of Sheffield - have been made possible by the wonderful folk at Alpkit, and are part of our Acts of Rebellion festival itinerary.
