BLUETITS is the documentary short and directing debut from celebrated Cornish photographer Katie Burdon. The film follows founder Sian Richardson and early members of the beloved swimming group BlueTits, a now 6,000 strong organisation. A journey of self discovery and pure joie de vivre, BLUETITS is a heartwarming and honest celebration of older women and the community that brings them together.

Sustainability Notes:

There was no generator used to power lighting. We were a small crew of less than 10. Half of the crew were vegetarian which reduced the amount of meat consumed. Crew shared cars when travelling from London - Wales & Cornwall on the shoot which reduced the amount of emissions. Crew travelled down with gear reduced amount of camera / lighting trucks. Crew had reusable water bottles reducing plastic on set.
