A considered and important piece of storytelling highlighting the human side of such a current topic. Combining migration, compassion and the role that the outdoors can play in providing a space for thinking and healing.Jimmy Hyland
Asylum seekers find a bit of peace by climbing. Tough watch in places but a very good documentary.Paul Hodgson Music Judge
The asylum system in Britain is fraught with complexity. Vulnerable people seeking safety in the UK must navigate a bewildering legal process that could trap them in limbo for years. At Climbing Hangar centres across Britain, refugees can climb for free at a dedicated monthly session. It is a space to learn new skills, find freedom in movement and build a climbing family. We follow the Refugees Rock crew on their first walking and rock climbing trip to Snowdonia, summiting the iconic Moel Siabod. Around the fire in Llanberis Pass we share songs and stories, and talk about what it means to find a home.
