A female athlete awakes to a beautiful, blue-bird winter day in the Swiss Alps. As she listens to the news report over her morning coffee, she envisions hitting the ski slopes with the other outdoor enthusiasts. But suddenly, she has a better idea... she will go sledding instead. She digs her sled out from the back of the gear room and heads to the top of the mountain, where she is alone on top of the world. She drops in on her sled, headfirst.
From producer and athlete Katie Tannenbaum: I am a professional athlete in the sport of skeleton. I am also a longtime fan of adventure film festivals and have derived much inspiration from the many great adventure films I have seen over the years. But I never saw my sport represented in this space. I wanted to change that. So despite having no filmmaking experience, I made this film.
