Vertebrate Publishing: Talk and readings

Jon Barton will be talking about his lifetime of adventure, sharing insights into how he got into outdoor adventure publishing and tips for budding authors. This will be complemented by short readings from classic mountaineering literature.

Jon is the managing director of Vertebrate Publishing and has written a number of best-selling guidebooks including Peak District Mountain Biking, White Peak Mountain Biking and Peak District Bouldering. His literary claim to fame is 'discovering' Simon McCartney and his wonderful book The Bond.
