CLIMB - ShAFF Online Monthly
About
Sheffield Adventure Film Festival is pleased to present CLIMB, the latest in our monthly online sessions hosted on the ShAFF Reelhouse channel.
CLIMB brings together three of the best new climbing films from around the world, celebrating the past, present and future in one 110 minute programme. In L'escalade Libérée or ‘Freed Climb’ Antoine Le Menstral reflects on a lifetime of climbing in the stunning Buoux, the birthplace of French sport climbing. Ocean To Asgard takes us to Baffin Island on a pure adventure as we follow a group of friends’ light hearted explorations far from home. Then we journey to the remote and wild arch of Getu, China as the feature length Valhalla documents the monumental project that Edu Marin set himself in bolting the largest roof climb in the world - a modern test piece which will test future climbers like nothing else.
ShAFF monthly sessions are available to rent @£5.39 ($7.50) for a limited time. Proceeds are split equally between ShAFF and the filmmakers (or a nominated charity of their choice).
