The Iditarod Trail Invitational is the longest, coldest race in the world, traversing 1,000 miles of mid-winter Alaskan wilderness. Andy Heading, a photographer from Matlock, was the first European to finish the race - encountering blizzards, wolves and hallucinations along the way.
