In August of 2020, the team at Rocketfuel Studios set out on a 3-day expedition led by the women of AdventurHER Travel to the summit of Mt. Adams. They partnered with Climb For Hope, a 501c(3) nonprofit dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer and MS research by climbing mountains. We filmed the entire trip, resulting in the short documentary film “CLIMB FOR HOPE.” Our main goal was to explore the idea that healthy people embarking on journeys to climb mountains can symbolically represent the struggle people with cancer or MS live with every day. By documenting the journey of these 6 women to the summit of Mt. Adams, we hope to showcase not only the perseverance of these powerful women, but also the unknown capabilities we each possess within ourselves.

Sustainability Notes:

While our film does not directly address sustainability, we do attempt to draw a strong relationship between strength of character and oneness with nature. The film explores many themes related to perseverance and ways that be practiced through physical challenge and geographic adventure. All of the items we brought with us on the trip up Mt. Adams were eventually taken back down. We believe in sustainable mountaineering practices and that humans can safely enjoy & explore nature without brining about its detriment.
