'The Alaskan Bushplane', or Supercub has long been the traditional form of transportation in the 49th State, and maintains it's status as the only permitted means of mechanized access amongst the Wrangell St Elias range. When equipped with skis and the right pilot, it's capable of travelling to the furthest reaches of this wild landscape--at least, for those willing to fly in one. Fortunately for Michelle Parker and Lucy Sackbauer, they're flying with the Claus family - a 3rd generation family of pilots with long time roots in Alaska. Kitted with a pair of skis and skins, the two fly amongst this massive range, in search of steep couloirs and first descents.
