Join Yugen Explore on their annual Peak District hiking meet-up for the SHAFF weekend in support of the right to roam campaign and The Stars are Ours movement with Trash Free Trails. Join us to show your support for the cause and help us raise money and awareness to make the countryside accessible to all. Come and show your support and be part of something special, everyone is welcome! Starting at Edale car park at 10am there is Edale Train Station next to the car park and trains from Sheffield and Manchester will arrive before the meeting time. Parking is also available but we would recommend public transport if possible. The route includes walking below the infamous Kinder Scout and is an intermediate hike at 7.8miles. Date: Sunday 5th March 2023 Start time: Meeting at 9.30am Setting off at 10am prompt Start location: Edale car park (Water Meadows, Hope Rd, Edale, Hope Valley S33 7ZQ, United Kingdom) Please note that this is a free community event and everyone is responsible for their own health and safety, a full disclaimer and the route will be sent nearer the time. Please ensure you have a suitable fitness level and kit for the weather conditions. You then have plenty of time to head into Sheffield for the afternoon schedule of talks and films at SHAFF.
