Here and There follows Tom Randall, an accomplished climber who has recently relocated to Berlin. Nodding to some other pioneers of the sport, this documentary captures Tom's exploration of the city’s urban landscape, uncovering its hidden potential and redefining what constitutes modern climbing in the process. Tom’s ability to push the boundaries of the sport is showcased, but it’s his unique approach to climbing that sets him apart.

While filming Here and There, we discovered a deeper layer to Tom’s climbing philosophy – his creativity. Unlike traditional climbers, Tom seeks out new and unconventional places to climb, driven by imagination and his unique ability to handle fear. This fearlessness allows him to tackle challenges that many would consider reckless and daring.

The film not only highlights Tom’s impressive physical mastery of crack climbing, but also offers a glimpse into the man behind the media presence. His journey becomes a powerful narrative for urban climbers, inspiring them to look beyond traditional crags and approach the sport from a fresh perspective. Through Tom’s eyes, we see that creativity and courage are just as important as skill in redefining what’s possible in climbing.
