New ShAFF Team

This has been news that we've been wanting to share for a little while, but with the team settling in and still finding our feet, it's taken us a bit longer than we expected.

As you know, we have been busy in the background, assembling a team that can take over from the one and only, Matt Heason. Founding ShAFF almost 20 years ago, it certainly will take a team to take over and continue what Matt started. Matt will stay on for a few years to ensure that the transition is smooth and provide a mentorship that will be invaluable to the team.

A core value that has always been at the heart of ShAFF is sustainability, and the new team have some brilliant ideas of how to bring this to each ShAFF festival. Alongside this, you'll read in the bios below, that another core value is community, and we can't wait to provide a space for many communities to be nurtured here in Sheffield.
