Our Judges say:

The initiative in this film of keeping pump tracks clean and the knock-on benefits that has is so important and impactful. Great work!

Pump tracks are a big part of my life right now with small people that love to shred trails. This is an enjoyable short film where the filmmakers hit the right tone of being 'down with the kids' and also recognising they might be 'a bit passed it'.

8 pump tracks in 10 days - join Trash Free Trails for their wildest tour yet. Think rock n roll meeting environmental action - and of course bikes. To mark the start of spring, TFT headed out on a wild road trip from Cheddar to Fort William, visiting pump tracks and the communities who ride them. Their mission? To inspire shredders across the country to remove single-use pollution, enabling riders young and old to protect these beloved riding spots. Hop in the van and meet the faces behind the tour - soak in the highs and lows of life on the road, and that indescribably feeling that powers this team; connection to nature, to community, and the thrill of finding flow.

Sustainability Notes:

"As a Trash Free Trails film, the focus is inspiring communities to connect with nature through the act of removing single-use pollution. We believe trail cleaning, whether it's in the highlands or down your local pump track, is a radical act that can create positive feedback loops - one that not only improves the environments we clean, but benefits our mental and physical wellbeing.

Significant portions of the team travel were done by train during the making of the film - all driving maximised passenger and kit storage space. No flying was required, and to reduce emissions the filmographer hired a local team to shoot dates that were a significant distance from his home location. "
