Set right out his back door, ALTER EGO is a short film that blurs the line between art and action. It follows UK 24hr endurance mountain bike champion Kyle Beattie as he leaves the stopwatch at home to explore a pure, unfiltered connection between rider and landscape. Shot entirely on Kyle’s home trails in Inverness, the film combines raw, fast riding with dark, cinematic visuals and an original soundscape built from natural elements. More than just a shredit, it’s a portrait of passion, rhythm, and the wildness that defines Scotland’s terrain and its people.

Sustainability Notes:

ALTER EGO followed the AdGreen sustainability model, with conscious efforts to minimise environmental impact throughout production. The crew was evenly split between local Inverness talent and London-based team members. Our main carbon footprint came from travel, primarily flights, estimated at approximately 700 kg CO₂e. Due to the film’s self-funded nature and last-minute production window, train travel wasn’t feasible.
