In 1996, Goran Kropp cycled from Sweden to Everest before climbing it entirely on his own. Twenty-eight years later, 22-year-old Jean Rouaux is picking up the torch in his own way. His goal: Ama Dablam, in the heart of Nepal. His starting point: Chamonix. 11,500 km by bike, 80,000 meters of elevation gain. A long journey marked by solitude, effort, and pushing personal limits. And what if the real adventure wasn’t the summit… but the road to get there?
Sustainability Notes:
Our film highlights cycling as a means of transportation and a way to travel. Almost all of the shots were filmed by Jean, the protagonist, himself. We can therefore describe it as a film with a very low carbon footprint.
