Alex and Marianne decided to live out their love for the ocean by living on their sailboat Diatomée, currently in French Polynesia. Alex develops underwater photography while Marianne enjoys being his model by practicing her passion for dance underwater. Animal lovers and freedivers, they set themselves the challenge of creating an aquatic ballet amid the incredible marine wildlife they encounter every day. An ethical and respectful approach, without feeding or physical contact, was paramount in their eyes. The idea was to blend into nature and show that humans have a place there if they do not arrive as conquerors.
