Interview: Sheffield Live Talk to Fesitval Director Matt Heason
About
Sheffield Live talk to festival director Matt Heason about this year's event and he gives his pick of the festival films including Meru, 3022ft, and the Best of ShAFF programme.
As the festival enters it's 11th year, ShAFF owes it's ongoing success to the combination of an excellent venue in the Showroom, and the outdoors-loving residents of Sheffield and the nearby Peak District who appreciate good film.
Adventure films aren't only for adrenaline junkies. Matt explains the variety of films featuring exotic locations, stunning photography and compelling storytelling. This year there are particularly strong films that were produced locally or feature Sheffield athletes, as well as those made by and featuring women.
With a range of ShAFF Fringe events such as SHED talks and a photo exhibition, many of which are free, there's something at ShAFF 2016 for everyone. We challenge you not to find a film you love.
