We're not trying to ban plastic - that would just be silly - instead, we want people (everyone, in fact) to become 'Plastic Clever' i.e. become more informed about plastic and more discerning in their use of it. Kids Against Plastic are delighted to be working with Matt Heason and his team to make ShAFF 2018 a Plastic Clever Festival. Whoop! And what this means is that ShAFF will have met certain criteria (mainly around discouraging the use of single-use plastic) that focus on the BIG 4 polluters: Cups + Lids, bags, straws and single-use plastic bottles. Whoop, whoop! ShAFF will be awarded with a lovely certificate and a sticker as recognition for their efforts to make the world a better place to adventure, enjoy, live. ShAFF will also be featured on the Be Plastic Clever website. So, all that's left to say is: Be Plastic Clever everyone... anything else would just be silly, wouldn't it?
