The Time Travelers is a collaborative vision by the team that conceived the award-winning 2015 short film The Important Places: Gnarly Bay Productions, Forest Woodward, and Brendan Leonard. The entire crew doesn’t often get together in the same place, but when they do, it’s to make a film about the Grand Canyon. In January 2017, the USA Rafting Team set their sights breaking the speed record on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon on a 48-foot custom boat they built themselves. The Time Travelers follows a few ordinary guys trying to do something extraordinary—rowing 280 miles in less than 40 hours—on one of the world’s most breathtaking and unique stages.
