Cyclops Pedal Power

Cyclops Pedal Power uses pedal-powered electricity generators, technology and creative arts to educate and campaign on climate change and inequality. We teach young people STEAM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) and show them how to apply them to make the world a better place. Based at Leeds Hackspace, our activities have included conductive play-dough, locked room games, pedal-power video games, Giant Circuits, 3D printing and Soldering 101. Our current project, Hack the Script, links pedal-powered generators with interactive models of streets, cities and the UK. By changing aspects of the models you can create a society in 2050 and 2100 which is sustainable, equal and nurtures wellbeing.
