‘Focus’ is an annual event aimed at adventure filmmakers, it aims to educate, inspire and entertain. The event is curated and hosted by adventure filmmaker Paul Diffley of Hot Aches Productions. The day-long event is a mix of panel discussions, presentations and informal industry networking. It is open to anyone working in, or aspiring to work in the outdoor media world. 1030 -1100 Coffee & informal networking 1100- 1230 Panel Discussion, ‘Getting Started and Keeping Going in Adventure Film!' Paul Diffley will chair a discussion on how filmmakers can start and maintain a career in adventure filmmaking. Panel member - Ed Birch (Salt Street Productions), Emma Crome (Cold House Collective, and Huw Erddyn (Cwmni Da) 1230 - 1330 Lunch and informal networking A free buffet lunch will be provided. (special dietary requirements can be entered when registering) 1330 - 1400 'Free Flow' - Paul Diffley presents a behind the scenes look at his latest short film with Hazel Findlay. 1400 - 1430 'Banana Skin' - Emerging filmmaker Jessie Leong is interview by Paul Diffley about the production of her first film. 1430 - 1445 Break 1445 - 1600 - In conversation with Krystal Wright World renowned adventure photographer and filmmaker Krystal Wright talks to Paul Diffley about her career in adventure film. The presentation will include several of Krystal's previous short films and a Q&A. 1600 - 1630 Drinks and Informal Networking A chance to hang out and reflect on the day over a drink. 1630 - Close
