Dreams become visions, and a plan transforms a dream into a goal. But how do you get started and leave your comfort zone? After the long months of stand still, the Mountain Tribe Crew has a big goal, and builts a longterm plan towards it. How can you reach your goal and what do you need to learn? Which capabilities do you need to amp it up? With a skiguide joining the crew in the tyrolean Alps, it quickly turns out that beside a range of alpine techniques, the specific personalities and the interaction in the crew will be the biggest challenge. Alpinistic progression also means turning away from the easy thrill of pow laps in the ski resort, but rather aim for new paths and some uncertainty if you will reach the summit. Learning something opens up new perspectives, things which seemed impossible suddenly seem within reach. But is that a sufficient motivation? Sustainability Notes The movie was shot very close nearby to where we live, around Innsbruck, Tyrol, Austria. Therefore we didn't have long distances for production days which cut our emissions. Since most of the places the movie was shot at were not accessable by skilifts, we had a huge amount of days which were only footpowered. Although Covid restrictions wouldn't have allowed us to travel anyways, we also did not feel the need to, because at home in Austria was the place to be this winter.
