Mick Fowler and Victor Saunders were at the forefront of the generation of mountaineers tackling Himalayan summits in Alpine style and had many celebrated successes together in the 70s and 80s. In 1989, on an expedition in Pakistan, their partnership came to an acrimonious end, and even a boxing match failed to reconcile their differences. Thirty years later, a chance book release and a little sentimentality prompted the pair to reunite to and to return together to the Himalayas. This film tracks them on their adventure to Chombu, the last unclimbed 6,000 metre peak in Sikkim, northern India, where they navigate not only the mountain, but the challenges of ageing bodies, cancer recovery, and a very old partnership.
