Why Should Climbers and Walkers Care About “Wildfires” in the Countryside?
What are wildfires and what risks do they pose in a changing climate? What can outdoor enthusiasts, climbers and walkers do to help? What's the role of the Peak District Fire Operations Group (FOG)? What's a wildfire log – incident reporting tool? What is our emerging engagement strategy across the wildfire season this year? Brought together in association with The BMC and Moors For The Future Partnership, these are just some of the major topics and questions that Jody Vallance and Ted Talbot from MFFP will be uncovering with us.
