SHAFF ANNOUNCES THE ‘BEST OF SHAFF’ TOUR WITH A NEW ONLINE ELEMENT SUPPORTING INDEPENDENT CINEMAS

Following submissions from hundreds of filmmakers, ShAFF 2020 is going On Tour! The programme presents 2 hours of the best of the festival, taking audiences on an adventurous journey that will leave them inspired and ready to take action.

The films are specially selected by the Festival Directors, Matt Heason and Anna Paxton, to reflect adventure in all its forms, including mountain climbing, exploration, high adrenaline and big tricks, alongside quieter moments of contemplation, connection and unexpected discovery. SHEFFIELD ADVENTURE FILM FESTIVAL

ShAFF takes place at the Showroom Cinema, Sheffield in March each year. This year’s festival was cancelled with less than 1 week’s notice, as the national lockdown was introduced and cinemas were closed. Not to be deterred, the team have renewed their partnership with cinema distribution consultant Jonny Tull to roll out the tour for 2020, including an online element that ensures local audiences are still able to support their local independent cinema.
