national cycling charity - We at Cycling UK promote all forms of cycling, inspiring people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to discover the joys of cycling. As well as supporting our members, we also play a prominent campaigning role, fighting to defend cyclists’ rights for safer roads, better infrastructure and legal protection.

Cycling UK is at ShAFF to hold our 'Get Ready for Big Bike Revival' networking & workshop event for our community cycling partners in South Yorkshire & Derbyshire. Big Bike Revival (BBR) is a behaviour change intervention to support lapsed cyclists return to cycling through giving help to fix bikes, and attract new people to the world of cycling. Now in it's 6th year BBR funds bike recycling centres and community-focused cycle groups to organise free to access events to help people repair bikes, learn skills to maintain and fix bikes, teach bike riding skills and offer led rides. We call this the FIX-LEARN-RIDE model. Groups who attend will find out about the grant application process, understand our data collection requirements and have the opportunity to meet other groups to share ideas and resources for holding their BBR activities this summer.
