Laura Page

Laura Page is and artist, filmmaker photographer and socially engaged practitioner. She often works on creative projects with marginalised groups and disadvantaged communities. She also photographs and writes articles and reviews for regional, national and international newspapers and magazines. Her personal artwork is mainly photography, film and mixed media. Much of her work explores people, society and hidden places and is informed by her background in philosophy and ignited by the current political and social climate. Laura has fully qualified in all of the National Council for the Training of Journalists’ (NCTJ) National Certificate Examination’s in photojournalism. She has BA Hons and Masters degrees in philosophy and won the Trevor Roberts Award for the best up-and-coming photographer at the Midlands Media Awards. She has exhibited her work around the UK and in Spain.
