The second of two sessions dedicated to the best new running films, as runners around the world find their own meaning and purpose through running.

In Gijima we meet Sinovuyo Ngcobo who faced tremendous hardship growing up in rural KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, but running has always been there for him. Beau Miles prefers action over words as he sets himself an urban backyard adventure in I Went On TV, while One Rep At A Time uncovers how running has the power to both heal and destruct. Running Out shines a light on going beyond limits, the value of community and showcases some of the most beautiful landscapes as Lucy Bartholomew runs the 231km Larapinta Trail in the Northern Territory Australia.

This session complements Run Films 1 which presents four very different tales from ultra trails around the world, from elite to the back of the pack and beyond.
