Our Judges say:

The beautiful shots of mountains and dogs. Never mind the running. Salomon free running

Ed Birch Director of Salt-Street productions

If you love dogs and running with your four-legged best friend, this short, inspirational film is a must-watch. It's a life-affirming insight into a Salomon runner who spends much of his time in the mountains away from people but with his two faithful dogs. The shots are beautifully cinematic, the cloud inversions over vast mountain ridges and valleys are stunning, and you'll want to be there with him and his dogs bounding along!

Beautiful imagery, even if we have heard the narrative a few too many times before. Just watch it for the dogs

We travelled to the small village of La Motte-d'Aveillans in the South East of France to meet and film with the winner of the #MyTrailDog competition, Gaëtan Ugnon-Fleury and his dogs, Pépite and Jolyn. Our time with them taught us some simple lessons that we often forget in the rush of life. Trail Dog is an ode to the beauty and happiness that can be found in the simplest of things - friendship.
