Terror and anticipation felt in equal measure. A fantastic example of storytelling through sound design.

Elise Wicker

You don't need a 4G cinema to feel the rain on your face on this one.

Ed Birch Director of Salt-Street productions

You might have seen films that capture the raw power of nature before - storms, thunder and lightning. With stunning photography and an atmospheric soundtrack, this film also captures the obsession of the storm chasing photographer and what it takes to get those shots.

Anna Paxton

Chasing Monsters is a creative tour de force. Director Krystle Wright's innovative daring cinematography and perfectly honed storytelling skills are on full electrifying display in this amazing short film. A must see!

Ruth Farrar

An unusual, beautifully shot film which takes a different view of adventure. Slow paced, no adrenaline here... just peace, beauty, art, music and inspiration.

Hayley Lever Women in adventure judge

Three female artists and writers reach a far flung bothy. Delightfully entertaining, beautiful and above all real. A singularly well put together short film, you will love it.

Paul Hodgson Music Judge

The Bothy Project is about exploring the wilds on your own terms, in your own style. Artists Tessa Lyons, Natasha Brooks and writer Claire Carter take themselves into the vast emptiness of the Sheneval bothy in the Scottish Northwest to let go and unravel. A run, a hike, a swim; a painting, a poem, an animation. Each woman’s experience is woven into this beautiful short film by Jen Randall, Light Shed Pictures. Commissioned by BMC TV and supported by Lowe Alpine.

🔥💯 bad ass film with clever art and rad Mtb rideing MICAYLA GATTO'S is on fire 💥

Ed Birch Director of Salt-Street productions

An explosion of colour and creativity awaits your viewing pleasure in this bold refreshingly different adventure film celebrating the connections between mountain biking and art.

Ruth Farrar

Watch athletic & artistic prowess collide as Micayla Gatto rides in & out of her own canvas. In athletic endeavors, there are often underlying attributes that provide a foundation for talent. Mental and physical strength are the obvious pillars, but there are other forces at work which help to build an individual athlete's style in their sport. For Micayla Gatto, a Canadian professional mountain biker, artistic creativity is the key that unlocks her unique approach to riding.

Love this idea and delivery was excellent, personally fascinated by the facts and figures bought up.

A short that punches well about its weight. I guarantee you’ll be thinking about everything you learn from this film for more than 100 seconds.

Anna Paxton

This is really a project to be aware of! Give it a minute, no two!

Claire Carter Writer, Film Officer for Kendal Mountain Festival, 'Creative Consultant'.

Friends of the Earth is campaigning to make more space for nature everywhere for the benefit of people and wildlife. This means bringing nature to life in towns, cities and where we live, learn and work, not just consigning it to special reserves. 100 Seconds asks some searching questions. How much space is there for nature in the UK? How do we use the land? Look at it from the air and you find some surprising answers. Each second of the film equates to 1% of what the country looks like from the air. One of the most shocking things, is going through literally hundreds of miles of crops, you realise that half of all the cereal crops you see in the countryside are fed to livestock. What else could we do with that land? More detail on this links The film premiered on 24th September in London https://friendsoftheearth.uk/nature/uk-100-seconds-short-film-asks-can-we-make-space-nature https://friendsoftheearth.uk/nature/space-nature-uk-100-seconds https://www.nationalgeographic.co.uk/environment/2018/09/discover-britain-100-seconds https://twitter.com/DanRavenEllison

Sit back and flow with Bryan's surreal-real colours of the ocean.

Claire Carter Writer, Film Officer for Kendal Mountain Festival, 'Creative Consultant'.

I love filming in the ocean more than anything, its not just a job, its a passion. And sometimes it's nice just to document waves without surfers riding them. The feeling of jumping off the rocks in the dark by myself just to capture the very first rays of light hitting the ocean without another sole in sight is unexplainable, its one of the most amazing feelings ever, its like my own personal therapy.

And to realise that you're the only person on this planet that got to witness these rare moments of absolute beauty as they happen is a really special feeling.

And now im excited to share my experiences with you through my latest passion project "MOCEAN".

Heres some of my favourite moments from 2018. All images where shot using The Phantom Flex 4K camera with Leica Summilux lenses and Chris Bryan Films custom underwater housing's.

One of the world’s leading adventure photographers steps, swims, and skis in front of the lens for this short film that captures the spirit of Krystle Wright and her incredible work.

Anna Paxton

On the big screen 💯🔥 beautiful shots of the photographer who is smashing the adventure industry wide open right now.

Ed Birch Director of Salt-Street productions

A woman for all seasons: Krystle Wright. Home for Krystle is usually behind the lens so it was amazing to see this award-winning adventure photographer take centre stage in this beautifully shot self-portrait set across different climates and countries. Warning: this film's sense of freedom will induce wanderlust.

Ruth Farrar

Understanding the motives of an artist is complicated and layered as every artist is motivated differently. The audience is given an insight to Adventure Photographer Krystle Wright and in particular how different fears are interwoven with her life and ultimately her work as a photographer. A photographer is not defined by a singular shot, it is the process of photography that is a wild ride as it passionately consumes the lifestyle as so often it is the driving force in how a photographer engages with the world that surrounds them.
