An amazing, thrilling, joyous short film which takes Danny Macaskill's trademark mountain bike adventure film-making and elevates it to high art. Mind-blowing and terrifying in equal measure.

Smash the tricks, catch the plane.

Somersaults off trollies, flips over escalators and daring jumps from the gangway – to catch a flight that had already been deemed missed, Jason Paul tries everything in his power. “As soon as I hear ‘Last Call for Mr Paul’ I imagine being stuck in a video game,” says Jason. “It’s my personal version of Mission Impossible.” In doing so and inspired by Jackie Chan the German freerunning ace almost always seems to reach the next level – almost always…

If you're a Shaff regular you'll have high expectations for a Danny MacAskill film – fortunately his Wee Day Out doesn't disappoint. Packed with innovative new stunts, beautiful Scottish vistas and a suitably high production value this is one to get your stoke on and think about how you can get better at falling off.

Viral for a reason, don't miss this on the big screen.

"Wee Day Out" explores the rural landscape around Scotland in a film that sets out to capture the simple fun of a ride in the country with moments of incredible riding and a touch of humor. Danny pulls off never-seen-before tricks, most of which would normally be assumed impossible on a mountain bike, like leaping onto a single train track, turning a hay bale into a giant unicycle, riding over a cottage, and disappearing into a 6ft puddle. Oh, and keep an eye out for a cameo from Danny's dad, Peter!

Wow! This is a great romp with a strong narrative through the epic Mount Marathon race in Alaska when American Rickey Gates brings his Salomon team mates Kilian Jornet and Emelie Forsberg to the country's most bonkers 5k race - up and down the scree slopes and rocky sides of Mt Marathon. Watch these two world class trail runners whizz nail-bitingly down the scree, and several bare-chested men not faring quite so well... And be inspired by the awesome cinematic shots of vast, wish-you-were-here Alaskan wilderness and wildlife. Definitely watch this film

Hilarious, terrifying, utterly mad film about the ultimate Alaskan ultra-running event, 5km up and down a mountain. There will be blood. It's great.

A car crash of a fell race....

Claire Carter Writer, Film Officer for Kendal Mountain Festival, 'Creative Consultant'.

Every 4th of July thousands of people descend on the small harbour town of Seward, Alaska to witness one of the oldest, fastest, hardest, toughest… and shortest mountain races in the world. For years, Rickey Gates has been churning out war stories and legends of the annual Mount Marathon Race to anyone that would listen. In 2015, in the race’s centenary year, Kilian and Emelie finally did.

Tom is 11 and just loves riding his bikes with his dad, no matter what the terrain, no matter what the weather. Having completed 2 Strathpuffer 24hr races he has racked up the miles over the last few years. Driven to just enjoy being out, he has big plans as he looks to drag his dad along the 2,700+ miles of the Great Divide route later in the year.

Prepare to have your heart-warmed by this adventure tale told through the eyes of a dog: the desert dog. Swimming under water with humpback whales and orcas, definitely one to enjoy on the big screen!

Anna Paxton

Jacques de Vos is an underwater photographer who spends most his time freediving with orcas.

Helped by his crew, this South African became an expert in finding these incredible creatures in the ocean and spending a few seconds swimming with them underwater.

We followed the man who freedives with orcas on one of his most beautiful expeditions, completed last winter in north of Norway.

Could you survive purely by foraging and hunting? Four guys set off on a bikepacking trip with no food, planning to eat only what they can find or catch along the way.

Anna Paxton

Huntin', shootin', fishin' and mountain bikin'... but mainly starvin'. A properly challenging wildwoods adventure. Watching footage of fishing for wild salmon has never been so exciting. This is the kind of adventure I never want to do but it makes for a fascinating film. Recommended.

The Foodless Odyssey has been a longtime dream of Pro mountain biker Matt Hunter. The idea is to bike-pack through hundreds of kilometers of wilderness on the remote Island of Haida Gwaii, living entirely off the land. The rules were simple, we would carry all the survival tools we needed to bike, fish, hunt and camp…. but absolutely no food. Everything we would consume for the weeklong journey would have to be harvested from the land.
